Let's start from the beginning. The thought of Home Simple started with my sister and I starting a Facebook Page with ideas of home décor & design. At the time I was a stay-at-home Mom & had some free time to post pictures & ideas of things that inspired me. I eventually became so inspired I started making signs. We started from scratch (a skill saw, drill and a few other minimal tools). Pulling apart pallets to make signs. While having a yard sale one Saturday morning, a lady talked me into selling these locally via Facebook. This started the growth of Home Simple. Not long after we were on the move to Richmond, VA. Once arriving & decorating our new home, I needed a new Dining Set. Looking around online for something American made, solid, rustic, but yet affordable. Well we couldn't check all those boxes with anything we found. So we set out to the local hardware store to build our own. Still having minimal tools & our small garage, we figured it out. Little did we know that table would lead to so much more. A lot like the signs, we see the growth & learning in each piece we complete. We never want to send a piece out that we wouldn't put in our own home. Blood, sweat & tears go in to our business (literally). I can't wait to take you along on our journey.
