Our Story

Hi,  were the Smolder's. The owner's of Home Simple Décor and More. 

Home Simple Décor & More is a family owned and operated business.  Located in Richmond, V.A..  We specialize in custom handcrafted furniture, signs, gifts & décor.  

In 2016, Amanda Owner & Creator of Home Simple set out on a search to find an affordable, solid, American Made farmhouse table. After failing to find what we wanted, we purchased a few tools and the lumber to build our own. Our first table wasn't perfect, but more would come from that experience than just a table. Little did we know that experience would be the beginning of Home Simple.  Goals and dreams were made from that table.  Over the next few years Home Simple Décor and More would continue to grow into what it is today. 

We Love everything Home & Simple. Furniture that will stand the test of time. Wall Art and Décor that helps tell our story of who we are and all the things we love.  Comfort and affordability are among the most important things we want to remain the same. 

While we love everything HOME,  we recently branched out with a few collections that I gravitate to in my daily life. I love everyday Jewelry and Handbags that are stylish yet functional. I have hand picked each piece in my collections and I hope you guys love them as much as I do.
